The Guggenheim and Accademia are wonderful museums to see. If available we might also decide to attend a Vivaldi concert, often performed in 18th C. costumes. With our multiple day vaporetto pass, we’ll explore canals winding through the city and travel wherever we wish for interesting subject matter to paint. Trips to Burano and Murano are planned. The hotel is located in a residential part of town that has a daily fruits and vegetables market. There is also an optional 3 night Florence extension for an additional $460 which covers hotel, breakfasts and last night dinner.
