Flying Colors Art Workshops Worldwide Travel Painting Workshops since 1986.........    2011 JAPAN -"NANAS & GRANDCHILDREN" This very special workshop will only take 8 Nanas (or Grandpas) each with one grandchild 12 or older. I am taking my grandson, Tucker, who will be 14 when we go. I don’t have the exact dates yet, but it will be the second week of June, so that most kids are out of school. This is not an art trip, really, but we will have a few lessons on keeping a simple journal of the trip and do some easy arty things to make our journals look more interesting. In a nutshell, these are places we’ll go: Tokyo, Hakone, Kanazawa, Kyoto There will be the opportunity for optional trips to Shirakawa-go and Gokayama and also Nara and Fushimi. This fabulous 14 day trip will include air (probably American Airlines), all hotels, 12 breakfasts, 5 lunches, 6 dinners, 15 cultural activities The price is not yet set, but I am sure it will be around $4,500 each. This is based on double occupancy altho there are two single rooms available. I do have some 2010 brochures about this trip, and it will be the same itinerary.
